Contiplan, All in One Cleansing Cloths (previously Clinell Barrier Cloths) provide a unique one step, long lasting continence care solution. The cloths cleanse, moisturise, soothe and provide a long-lasting barrier against unwanted moisture. Dermatologically tested, Contiplan’s Cleansing Cloths are paraben and lanolin free, contain a patented pH neutral, cream based formula and contain natural plant extracts of witch hazel and camomile designed to be gentle on skin. Prolonged exposure to urine and or faeces from incontinence episodes can cause skin irritation and damage, also known as incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD), increasing risk of infection and pressure ulcers. Contiplan helps prevent development of IAD by minimising skin exposure to unwanted moisture through the application of a skin protectant – 10% barrier cream (4% dimethicone and 6% liquid paraffin) incorporated into the formula. They are also an effective moisturiser for severely dry skin. Quick and easy to use, the cloths effectively replace traditional methods of continence care such as bowls of soap and water, dry wipes, cleansing foams and barrier creams.
