How to Apply Window Film
1. Measure and Cut: Measure the length and width of the window, and add an extra 2 cm for easy trimming.
2. Clean the Glass: Use a cleaning solution to thoroughly clean the glass surface and keep it dry.
3. Prepare the Film: Use two pieces of tape to stick on both sides of the window film to facilitate peeling off the backing film.
4. Spray: Generously spray water on the glass surface and on the adhesive side of the window film.
5. Apply the Film: Carefully place the window film onto the wet glass. The film can be repositioned on the glass surface as needed.
6. Smooth the Film: Spray a small amount of the cleaning solution on the outer (patterned) surface of the film to keep it moist and prevent scratching. Use a scraper or a card to squeeze out air bubbles and excess water, working from the middle to the edges.
7. Trim the Edges: Use a utility knif.e to trim off any excess film.
8. Final Touch: Wipe off any remaining moisture with a dry towel. If there are any lifted edges, spray more water and smooth again.
