Dc fix SPLENDID MARBLE 3D kitchen and bathroom splashback wallpaper 67.5cm x 4m
A thicker 3D effect wallpaper that can be used to cover existing flat tiles or straight to the wall as an instant splash-back. Applied horizontally means there are no annoying joins, if used above a kitchen worktop for example, the design runs down the roll and not across the width. Applied using glue or wallpaper paste, it’s very easy and far quicker than removing and replacing tiles. Cost effective, durable, waterproof when sealed and can be used in the shower too!
Application
•Use on clean painted walls or over existing flat tiles
•Use glue for non-absorbent surfaces (eg ceramic tiles), coat the wall using the glue, then apply the paper
•Use regular wallpaper paste for absorbent surfaces (eg plastered walls), apply paste to the reverse of the paper and leave to soak for 10 minutes, before applying to the wall
•Apply horizontally around the wall, not like normal wallpaper which is hung vertically
•Ensure strips are butt joined if applying several strips
•The paper can be cut around sockets very easily with scissors
•Seal any edges and joins using silicone sealant to make it water-tight (the clear varnish surface is completely waterproof)
•Measure the area to be covered before ordering to ensure you order the right number of rolls, check any match for waste
Aftercare
•Avoid scrubbing and using harsh abrasive chemicals
•Wipe clean with a regular household cleaner
•Leave for 24 hours before cleaning at room temperature
•Remove the wallpaper by pulling the PVC surface from the support paper at the corner. The paper layer which remains can be an ideal under-surface for another wallpaper, or remove it completely
•Keep away from direct heat like a gas hob, use fire safety glass over the vinyl if you want to continue the design
