It is a very thin material and the extra front strap does nothing it just goes under your bust in the crease. I am size 16 average bust size and close did not look or fit properly.

Bought for my daughter, she likes it, but said their isn’t much support

It's ok, I'm not entirely sure the purpose of the fastening to the front or even to the back it gives no extra support. As a boob tube on its own it's ok and will be fine and comfortable under a dress. Size wise I'd say true to size as I order XL incase small but L would of been fine
