We carry two varieties of military watch straps: the robust leather kind and the nylon-mixed 'G10' or 'NATO' watch straps. Despite the 'NATO' name, these straps originated in Britain and 'NATO' was merely the inventory code for this strap type. The term 'G10' was embraced by the British military due to the form required to order this strap from the stock. This style of strap gained such popularity in the military that Sean Connery's James Bond can often be seen sporting it in his films.
