We had the engine bay protector made to this design because the engine

bay was getting full of mud. Having a flat smooth finish on the face

allows less mud to stick on the face of it. If it was fully ventilated

then the mud would go through the holes.

7. Having a space in front

of the oil cooler and the engine bay guard which is protected, allows

less mud to sit around the oil cooler and engine allowing engine to run

normally.
