Peppermint is a hybrid perennial mint resulting from cross-pollination between the watermint and spearmint. Our peppermint is made from the leaves of the Menthe Piperita, which are then dried and chopped to perfection.
The flavour of peppermint is absolutely unique, it grabs your attention instantly because of its fresh aroma and a strong cool taste. It is a popular flavouring in tea, ice cream, confectionery, chewing gum and toothpaste, and its essential oil is used as a natural insecticide.
To get the best out of the tea, Infuse 1 teaspoon of the dried peppermint per cup of hot water and steep for around 5 to 10 minutes.
