A great butchers block, solid, stable and well finished, being an engineered build it stays flat and stable, even when wet and then dry. Very easy to clean with nice liquid gutter around edge. Great size and weight.

Got this as a replacement to my trusty chopping board, waited a while for delivery but when it arrived I noticed a few things straight away. As its a butchers block its quite a bit larger than a standard chopping board. Also the weight on it is apparent, this translates into quality and its easy to use and more importantly clean afterwards.

Great product, ideal as a chopping board with colour coded sheets on top. Or for a bread board, meat board, whatever you wish to use it for!!We use ours as a sandwich making board - we add a thin plastic cutting sheet to the top to protect the wood and it’s great because it adds height when using the side and protects your surfaces. Only downside is the beading around the edges where sometimes food gets stuck as you’ll see in the video.£22.95 is an excellent price for a well made cutting board. There are no sharp edges and it’s well finished. It comes nicely packaging in a box. And it’s a huge bonus that it’s pre-oiled!!Verdict: Strongly recommend.

I bought two butcher’s blocks and I am extremely impressed. They are heavy (stops them sliding) superb quality wood. Look fantastic in my kitchen. Excellent value for money.

For £18 this is an absolute quality chopping block.Got some nice weight to it, nice and thick and very well made.It has channels around the outer edge for catching juice/water out of foods and they can easily be drained off with a slight tilt.Overall a top quality block that definitely gets my full recommendation 😁

This board arrives in a nicely presented box, which makes it giftable, and is a good heavy, thick chopping board. Whilst it took 5 weeks to arrive, we aren't disappointed in the quality of the product now it is here.At 4 cm thick it is a nice chunk of bamboo, and sits well in place while it is being used, we have tried it with fresh bread and some vegetables. Although the leaflet that comes with the board states not to submerge in water, it easily sat on top of my washing up bowl so I could rinse it over.There is a juice/crumb run around the edge on the top of the board, and this leads to a drip point just where the companies logo is, so it's perfect for resting cooked meats on. At £18.00 at the time of writing this review, this is a really nice chopping board, and I can see it becoming the main one we use.

Easy to use and to clean. Strong and sturdy got some weight to it. Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again 👍

This is a nicely made bamboo cutting board that is thick and very heavy. It has a shallow channel running around the perimeter and the Deer and Oak logo carved into a corner. It looks lovely as well as being very functional for food preparation. The top and base are smooth and well finished, but the sides are a little rough in places where they haven’t been fully sanded. It is possible to rectify with sandpaper and then adding some oil, but a pity that it lacks that small attention to detail. That aside, it is otherwise perfect and offers such good value that I am not deducting any stars.There is a care leaflet included, giving the basics like not soaking in water or placing it in a dishwasher, but the main thing to bear in mind is the need for regular oiling. Use board oil rather than olive or other vegetable oil to keep it in tip top condition; it’s worth it.It comes in a box and is gift ready if you can bear to part with it.

Price at time of review is 18. This is a really heavy duty chopping block. Well packaged in a thick cardboard outer and shrink wrapped on the inside, it came with no flaws. This is like twice as thick as my old one. It looks and feels really premium. Only downside is some may find it hard to wash as it is much heavier than most. If the weight (approx 3kg) is no issue for you then I'm pretty certain this would last a seriously long time. I'm really pleased with it.

I am very happy that I finally received this product after waiting more than three weeks. The board meets my expectations; it is heavy, thick and very well-made. It cuts very well and presents the prepared food well. It is very easy to keep clean. If it weren't for the fact that I waited so long, I would have given it five stars. I recommend.
