Dachshund Sizes:

These are the same neck but a more roomy chest, longer body length & shorter leg length. Back lengths: Med length is 38cm &  Large length is 40cm. We recommend size Med for most miniature dachshunds, and Large for chunkier mini dachshunds or Standard dachshunds. 

Other sizes:

Small - Small/ toy breed puppies. Full grown Chihuahua’s, Tea cup breeds. Puppy dachshunds, pugs, Jack Russell's 1.5-4kg approx.

Medium - Puppies/ small breed puppies. Miniature dachshunds, small Shih Tzu’s, 3-5kg approx. 

Large - Medium breed puppies such as french bulldogs under 4months old. Adult Jack Russell terrier, standard dachshunds, 5-8kg approx.

XLarge - Medium/large breed puppies eg: frenchie, bulldog or spaniel pups under 6months old. Adult Pugs, Boston Terriers, Medium Terriers, small Cavapoo’s, Spaniels & French Bulldogs, 8-11kg approx.

3XL - Medium & Large adult breeds such as Spaniels, small-medium sized Labradors,  large French bulldogs, large cockapoos. 12-18kg approx. 

If your dog measures between sizes, or on the larger end of a chest size, please size up. Chest size is the most important to note & size to.
