Not quite parallel, either the outer chains are too short or the centre wire is too long. There is a faint humming to the light and the wireless charger does get quite warm. Aside from that the product is very nice, bright and responsive.
Update: the wireless charger started beeping.

Cheap crap, lights flicker, can’t charge phone and have the light on, turns itself off all the time, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, pic is it where it belongs in the bin.

Box not closed properly on arrival with lamp sticking out top. That was okay as lamp not damaged however there is no usb-c cable included so cannot turn lamp on
