Definitely, the 70070 Telescope is great, very easy to assemble and use, the instructions are clear and the optical quality is excellent for what it's worth. I would recommend the 40070 for kids and the 70070 for beginners. I recommend sitting down when using the telescope to be even more comfortable, you can adjust the height of the tripod and turn the prism diagonally to the side you are sitting on.
