It is important to point out that this design was made for my grandmother. Who has Lymphoedema (Lymphoedema is a long-term (chronic) condition that causes swelling in the body's tissues. It can affect any part of the body but usually develops in the arms or legs).

The image is of my grandmother in action at 93. This was designed to be the solution to using other types of sock removers (and last a long time). After many revisions, this is the design that works and works well for a 93-year-old that wants to keep her independence.

Who is it for? Everyone

Keeping your independence is the main aim of our sock remover. The sock remover assists in removing compression socks and any form of hosiery.

This is a gender-neutral product and can be used by anyone that needs a little assistance in removing socks without it turning into an exhausting effort.

While pregnant

"Wearing my compression socks has enabled me to take small steps to look after my health at this important time, and has given me a slice of control which I have so desperately needed when nothing else has felt within my control!" Getting them off was a struggle until I used the sock remover.

What is it made from? ALL RECYCLED

Recycled Timber

The top and bottom of the Sock Remover are made from recycled plastics that have been created to be as eco-friendly as possible for 3D printing. Not only has it been designed to reduce plastic content, but it also is not a mass-produced item. All sections of the Sock Remover are made and assembled in the UK.

Three Parts

There are three sections to the design. The top has a more oversized rounded flat handle that can be nicely placed in the palm of the hand for pushing the sock off. The middle section is made from recycled timber that is hand sanded and smooth to the touch, in its natural wooden state. The sock end section has two strong-shaped areas to allow the sock to be pushed off easily. Each edge has a slick rounded finish to prevent snags and tears in socks.
