I was disappointed in this product, I tried it on 2 external hard drives and I could not get it to work on either.
I wouldn't tell people not to buy this product though, just give it a try yourself.

It's okay, just an adapter for hard drives. If the ad you see say it has 6tb of storage, or implys that - it does not, it has no storage at all.

A total waste of money! Connected 5 fully functional data drives to it and it did not detect a single one of them. It’s just a plastic box with connections for drive that don’t work, and a red light that comes on when you power the box on. DO NOT BUY!!!
