Pork and fennel is a traditional Italian pairing in salami making, as both are complementary in their mild sweetness. During the Middle Ages, as the cost of pepper skyrocketed, Tuscans began experimenting with locally sourced herbs and spices. Fennel, known as Finocchiona, became a staple ingredient and has been cherished ever since.
Made from high welfare outdoor-reared British pork from our farmers in Kent, our Fennel Snackalami are the perfect gourmet snack: high protein, gluten-free, low-carb and keto-friendly. Make it part of a charcuterie board or enjoy as an on-the-go saucisson.
