Feels like real metal, very sturdy and a little hard to open as the springs seem very tight. Definitely stays in the hair. NOT able to be used for thick thick hair as it can only hold a small amount

Pleased with the quality of this clip. Actually made of metal which is great for thicker hair. I have long thick hair cut into a shag cut and this holds it well in a small up do. Would love other sizes if they were available
