To ensure Mumtaz Gluten Free Chapatti Flour is free from cross contamination with gluten during production, each batch is ELISA tested at an independent UKAS accredited laboratory.
We feel strongly that those suffering from celiac disease or have an intolerance to gluten, should be able to eat nutritious foods with a similar texture and taste to gluten containing food stuffs. The teff flour included in this recipe is an ancient grain which is exceptionally nutritious, containing, iron, zinc and magnesium and it also has a low Glycaemic Index which is helpful for diabetic sufferers.
