1. Please use gloves when using Resin with any of your projects, and for longer periods of time ensure to wear a mask.
2. The ideal working temperature is 21-29C, Best results can be obtained in a dry, dust free environment, and also try to work on a flat, levelled surface.
3. The material must be mixed for at least 3 minutes, be careful not to whip excessive air into the mixture and for larger mixing quantities be sure to use a power mixer, for smaller quantities use stir sticks. Once mixed, pour into a clear container and mix for an additional 1 minute.
4. Pour the mixed resin onto the surface and distribute evenly, continue to pour to achieve the desired thickness, allowing the resin to flow evenly over the projects sides. Resin can be poured up to 1/4 inch per pour.
5. Use a heat source such as a heat gun to remove any bubbles by adding a small amount of heat to the surrounding area, the bubbles will rise to the surface and pop.
6. If you are going to make a second pour, the first pour will still be slightly sticky, after the second pour bubble may need to be removed again using the same technique mentioned. Material will feel hard after 45-60 minutes, cure to the point of workability is 24 hours, but full cure and maximum hardness can take up to 7 days depending on the temperature.
Density (g/m3) = Part A: 1.08+0.05, Part B: 0.96+0.03
Viscosity at 25 (mpa.s) = Part A: 1800+200, Part B:280
Mixed Viscosity at 25 = 550+50 mpa.s
Test by Brookfield DV2TRV at 25C = Max mixed viscosity is 800mpa.s
Mix Ratio = 1 to 1 by volume and weight
Gel Time = 30-40 minutes + 15 minutes at 25C for 100g
Curing Time = 8-10 hours at 25C, 6-8 hours at 35C, 24 hours completely dry
Demould time = 10-12 hours
