Trimmed my split ends off and the collection section works well, there wasn't loads of hair everywhere. It didn't cut all my hair off so yeah pretty good.

This split end trimmer is terrible, chunks of your hair get caught up in the spinning blade, ans all this does is not only cut the split ends but it cannot tell yhe difference between a broken hairband split end. It trims all the hairs poking out. My split ends are far worse than before. Dont buy.
