Nail Prep:

 

Before starting, gather all the necessary supplies, including nail polish or nail enhancement products, nail file, buffer, cuticle pusher, and EKO nail prep and wipe solution. If you have old nail polish on your nails, use a nail polish remover and cotton pad to completely remove it. Make sure there is no residue left.

Trim your nails to the desired length and shape them using a nail file. Be gentle and avoid over-filing, as this can weaken the nails.

Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher or an orangewood stick. This helps create a clean nail surface for better adhesion.

Use a nail buffer to lightly buff the surface of your nails. This step helps smooth out the nail's texture and removes any remaining debris.

To remove any remaining dust from your nails, use a EKO nail prep and wipe solution applied with a lint-free nail wipe or cotton ball. This ensures that the nail surface is completely clean and ready for nail polish or enhancements.

 

Nail Wipe:

 

After completing the nail prep steps, the nail wipe is used to further clean and prepare the nails: 

Moisten a lint-free nail wipe.  Ensure it's not dripping wet but damp enough to clean the nails effectively. 

Gently wipe each nail to remove any remaining debris, or residue. This step ensures that the nail surface is completely clean and ready for the application of nail products. 

After wiping, give your nails a moment to air dry or use a clean, dry lint-free wipe to pat them dry. The nails should be completely dry before proceeding with the application of nail polish or enhancements.
