Has your beloved dog been diagnosed with a liver shunt? Are they not eating their prescription kibble or wet food? Look no further as we have created 14 low protein recipes to feed in addition to your digestive prescribed food.
Our dog Barney was diagnosed at just 4 months old. He did not want to eat the prescription food from the vets and was severely under weight and anaemic. We started home cooking for him and he started to love food again. We also got him back to a healthy weight, and he had his energy back. At the time of the book going to press Barney is nearly a year and a half.
We have created this book for anybody who is in the same situation. If you want to medically manage your liver shunt dog without surgery then you have come to the right place.
The book is A5 and wiro bound with wipeable pages to make it easy to use for everyone!
Happy cooking ❤️
🔥Important information
After extensive research we have discovered that the recipes in our book are also suitable for Cats with liver shunts. Even though the book is based upon our dog with a liver shunt, our dog is a toy breed therefore the recipe portions are suitable for cats. There is one recipe on page 14 which contains tomatoes, which are not suitable for cats due to it containing solanine, which is poisonous to cats. Other than this the book is suitable for your feline companions.
